INTRODUCTION TO CRIMINAL PROFILING: The myths, legends and truths of crime scene behaviors
A new course on Inductive (science-based) criminal profiling will begin on 1/4/2004. Those interested in signing-up for the course are encouraged to apply by sending a letter of intent to psychologist@charter.net
The course is two weeks long and will cover current research in the field as well as related opinions by noted profilers, writers, university faculty, and former Federal Bureau of Investigation special agents assigned to the former Behavioral Science Unit.
The cost of the course is $120.00 and included over 200 pages of course material, a CD copy of the book AN OBJECTIVE GUIDELINE FOR CONSISTENCY IN PROFILING VIOLENT SERIAL SEX OFFENDERS © Copyright March, 2002 TXu-1-065-637 and live chat classroom discussions on a set schedule basis.
Registration deadline is set for December 15th for the spring 2004 semester. All fees must be made in full by money order, pay pal payment or cashiers check
The following leading authors will be examined: Locard. Burgess, Kessler, Godwin, Turvey, Chevalier, and Cantor. This course will include actual cases and evidence for students to evaluate and learn from. (WARNING: some of the photos are very disturbing thus making this course not for the weak at heart)
